The Popular Show Campaign 4 Unveils the Soldiers Party

From the very beginning of the fourth campaign, recently appointed game master Brennan Mulligan has kept viewers on edge with deep backstory, a colorful mix of personalities, and a gripping narrative including angels, evil spirits, and malevolent powers expanding in influence within Dol-Makjar.

Note: Revealing details for the third episode of the new season are included.

The Soldiers Table Unveiled

The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of adventurers who will branch out from the main group to begin their independent quest, apart from the remaining groups.

This warrior group consists of the determined fighter (brought to life by Travis), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney), Wicander Halovar (the player), and Kattigan Vale (Robbie Daymond).

Dividing the Cast

With an extensive roster, it was clear from the start that maintaining everyone at one table would be impossible.

That’s why, the first four episodes of the new season serve as an Prelude, connecting the characters’ stories before branching into three separate parties: Fighters, Planners, and Seekers.

The Nature of the Combat Party

According to the DM, the combat-focused party is for adventurers who prefer a traditionally charged fight-heavy story mode where non-violent answers are few and far between.

At first glance, figures such as the reluctant priest Wicander Halovar might seem unsuited, but the events of the third episode make it clear why these specific adventurers are ideally matched for the warrior group.

Reasons to Leave

To begin with, the group has a clear idea where to go next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.

An old friend of Thjazi—whose death kicked off the campaign’s events—used the foes for his own means, breaking into the hidden lair, assaulting the character, and stealing all the enchanted items to auction.

The traitor then cleared his liabilities and fled to a fortified location in the remote area, north of the urban center, with Cyd hot on his heels.

Individual Reasons

Moreover, each adventurer has a individual motive to depart Dol-Makjar:

  • The rogue, as the companion and trusted friend, wants revenge.
  • The adventurer is familiar with the region and cautions that it is a hostile place.
  • The strong character and The healer, having resisted his family’s wishes to eliminate the fighter and instead freed him, have no other options.
  • But, their status as key figures in the powerful family could enable the party access areas they usually can’t.
  • Furthermore, The grateful character pledged a unbreakable promise to The savior for his rescue and will now go with him wherever.

Fugitives

In addition, all of them are hunted by the authorities that control Dol-Makjar for a range of causes, making lingering locally dangerous:

  • Thimble and The hero are recognized lawbreakers.
  • The strong figure and The cleric defied the influential house and the army of fiends they are allied with.
  • The target is marked for death by the clan.

This means them little choice but to head to the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.

What’s Next?

Based on the latest episode’s Cooldown, we discover that the Soldiers table won’t be around the following episode, leaving the remaining eight participants to assemble the Questers and Strategists tables.

Fans can anticipate learning which players will be assigned to which table in Campaign 4’s concluding setup installment, released on the upcoming Thursday.
